A night in Paris
Montmartre is also known as the painter’s neighborhood, its small and steep narrow streets are home to the oldest cabarets and to the Basilica of the Sacré-Coeur. This area is also full of restaurants with terraces and painters selling their work to tourists and locals.
During the Belle Époque, between 1871 and 1914, many artists, like Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso, lived and worked in Montmartre.
This famous district also welcomed the famous "Le chat noir". considered to be the first modern cabaret: a nightclub where clients could seat at tables and have drinks while being entertained by a variety show on stage.
With our concert, we will recreate the atmosphere of the most famous café of the bohemien era, with music, paintings and coffee.
Just as at "Le chat noir", You will be welcomed in a cozy atmosphere where you will find small tables enlightened by candles.
Take a seat, enjoy a cup of coffee and let the show begin.
A combination of classical music with some hint of jazz with compositions by Debussy, Mouquet and Bolling will take you to Paris.
Isabella Mancin Cattaneo - Flute

The musicians of the ensemble met during their studies in Prins Claus Conservatorium. Although they come from different study path, classical and Jazz, their passion and interest for the French and Jazz music brought them together. Les Quatre Chats explore this particular combination to bring on stage their excitement and sharing with the audience the joy of this music.
